MCN Multi Franchise Dealer of the Year Award

Hard Work Does Pay Off!

MCN_PhotoMore than 15 years of graft nets In Moto MCN’s ‘Multi Franchise Dealer of the Year’ award.

From the humblest of beginnings – a single room selling imported used Italian motorcycles – In Moto has grown to become the destination dealership for new and used Ducati, Aprilia,      Moto Guzzi, KTM,  Kawasaki, and Piaggio bikes and scooters.

Not only do they offer showrooms for each of their brands, with dedicated, specialist staff in each, but also a fully equipped modern workshop, dyno room, spares warehouse, extensive  clothing shop, and an  on-site café, ‘The Bus.’

A family undertaking right from day one, In Moto is still spear headed by founder and “Capo Famiglia” Roberto Ingignoli, but also now sees son Cristian and daughter Roberta fully involved in developing  the growing company. The family have focused on delivering a high quality experience to their customers throughout the last 16 years and this has resulted in the fantastic growth of the company while still managing to retain the warm welcoming atmosphere and flexibility that was found in Roberto’s original small showroom. Ducati Brand Manager Kevin Hall explains what impressed him about the company when he was first approached to join back in 2011.

“I had always believed that the best way to build a motorcycle dealership was by providing the most professional and enjoyable experience. When I first started talking to Cristian and Roberto I soon realised they reflected my thoughts exactly    and had great plans to provide an unrivalled experience to their customers. They were determined to provide an environment that customers would not only feel relaxed in but actually enjoy visiting for pleasure, not just when they wanted to  spend money. To ensure this they would also only employ those people who shared their approach of striving to provide the best possible service and friendliest of welcomes.”

The efforts of the family and their team have succeeded. A visit to any of their showrooms is a pleasant and relaxed experience. While it may be difficult to resist spending money on some of the most beautiful and exciting machinery the  motorcycle world produces; or to avoid treating yourself to a new Mug or T-shirt to show your passion and allegiance to the most prestigious brands in motorcycling, you never feel obliged or under pressure to do so. The welcome is warm
and genuine and without agenda. As Kevin says: “I’m here to help people buy the right motorcycle, not to sell them a motorcycle. Come and have a chat, look around, treat yourself to lunch in ‘The Bus’. Enjoy yourself. That’s what
biking is all about, isn’t it?”
